Our eyes and ears bring in outside noise and negative thoughts/anxiety all day long from various sources. Without knowing it, these noises and thoughts slowly build a tension wall in the neck and shoulder area. This impacts our physical, emotional and intellectual well-being. Some examples are stiff muscles, back pain, shallow breathing, poor digestion, headaches, sleeplessness, sadness, anger irritability and difficulty focusing on one thing at a time.
Over time, these things along with others may contribute to more serious health problems, such as heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and other illnesses, including mental disorders such as depression or anxiety.
If you are thinking, as you read this, that some of those things apply to you and you are afraid that you are heading in the wrong direction, then ask yourself what is keeping you from taking control of your life situation. Just about 100% of the time it is FEAR that keeps people from getting control of bad health situations. Fear that you are in so deep that there is no way out.
There is always a way out that doesn't involve taking a drug, getting a shot or even worse, surgery. It just takes patience and time. I will help you find your way out by teaching you how to physically move and emotionally think in more positive ways that will absolutely improve your overall health. They will be simple yet very effective.
It's totally fine being fearful but don't let it hold you back. Learn to do things afraid! Remember: Courage isn't the absence of fear; it is learning how to move forward in the presence of fear. You will find as tension diminishes in your sessions with me, the fear that had been gripping you tight will start letting go as well.
